I honestly wonder what entitles Cam to be a "pickup guru" and to sell "pickup products". I mean he is a good guy and all but where is proof that he is any good with women? Is there some video of him talking to girls?
Cam is just some average dude, the kind of dude who is into Rocky and martial arts and a bit of a nerd, don't know what makes him any special. From his way of talking and from his humor I'd say he may even be below average with girls.
Just because he spent time and made friends with Mystery & co and the worked with the other RSD creeps (when they were even 10x worse with girls than they are today, if that is even possible) doesn't mean he should give advice.
His advice is mostly common sense advice. At least that's better than the shit many other gurus teach because it is at least not unhealthy, but if you took some average Joe on the street and told him to create a "seduction blog" he would give the same sort of advice...just the common sense "be confident, dress well, be funny...blablabla"
And then he hates on the scene as if he wasn't part of it.
